Private Hire

The bus is available for Private Hire.

The bus can only be hired with one of our drivers: it cannot be rented out as ‘a rental vehicle’.

The bus can be hired by private individuals or by local organisations.

The bus is only available for Private Hire when not operating any of our scheduled services.

The current charges are:

• £10 Basic Fee

• £2 per mile driven

The total mileage driven is as given by the bus’ odometer and measured from when the bus leaves it’s regular parking place to when it returns to it’s regular parking place.

These charges are set to be sufficient to just cover the operating costs of the bus including a small contribution to the replacement bus fund.

Any Private Hire is subject to the availability of a volunteer driver.
